GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – ONLINE TICKETING
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. These terms of sale are entered into between S.A. AVENTURE LAND—with its registered office at 1 bis, rue Chalot, 95420 Magny-en-Vexin, registered with the Pontoise Trade and Companies Register under number B 435 093 653, hereinafter referred to as "PARC AVENTURE LAND"—and any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the PARC AVENTURE LAND website, hereinafter referred to as "the buyer."
1.2. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) are available for consultation on the website.
II. PURPOSE
2.1. These terms of sale define the contractual relationship between PARC AVENTURE LAND and the buyer, as well as the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the PARC AVENTURE LAND online store, whether the buyer is a professional or a consumer.
2.2. Purchasing a product or service via this site implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these terms of sale. These terms of sale shall prevail over any other general or specific terms not expressly agreed to by PARC AVENTURE LAND.
2.3. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to modify its terms of sale at any time. In such cases, the applicable terms shall be those in effect on the date the buyer places the order.
III. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES OFFERED
3.1. The products and services offered are those listed in the catalog published on the PARC AVENTURE LAND website: outdoor leisure park activities and indoor escape game sessions. For the Escape Game, PARC AVENTURE LAND makes a room available to USERS for the maximum game duration scheduled for the mission (60 minutes), for use by a team of users. Duration and specific conditions (age, number of players, accessibility) are indicated on the website www.aventureland.fr and its online store. The session may end upon the expiration of the allotted time, or earlier if the team completes the mission, with no price adjustment.
3.2. These products and services are offered subject to availability.
3.3. Each product is accompanied by a description provided by the supplier.
IV. PRICES, NUMBER OF SPOTS, and ACCESS CONDITIONS
4.1. Prices are indicated in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (TTC), taking into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order; any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of products or services. Rates vary according to the number of participants. The applicable rates are those displayed on the website www.aventureland.fr and its online store.
4.2. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; however, it is understood that the price listed in the catalog on the day of the order shall be the only one applicable to the buyer. The indicated prices include order processing fees.
4.3. Depending on the event and the number of people, different types of rates may be offered to you.
4.4. All orders, regardless of their origin, are payable in euros.
4.5. No refunds will be issued in the event of loss or theft of the ticket.
4.6. Specific access conditions for the Escape Game
4.6.1. Proof of eligibility: Access to the session may be conditional upon presentation of the confirmation email and proof of identity belonging to the BUYER. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to request proof of age.
4.6.2. Minimum age: The minimum permitted age is 7 years old, provided the participant is accompanied by at least one adult. The minimum permitted age is 15 years old without an accompanying adult. Access may be refused if these conditions are not met, without a refund.
4.6.3. Accessibility / Disability: The room is accessible to persons with reduced mobility (PRM) and persons with disabilities (PWD). The room can accommodate a maximum of one wheelchair within a team of 2 to 5 players. It is recommended not to exceed 2 PWD per team and for each to have their own accompanying person.
4.7. RULES OF USE, SAFETY, AND BEHAVIOR specific to the Escape Game
4.7.1. USERS agree to use the room and its equipment in accordance with authorized use and to keep everything in good condition. Any damage caused intentionally or resulting from unauthorized handling may result in the user being billed for restoration costs.
4.7.2. USERS agree to comply with all safety instructions (whether displayed, contractual, or given orally), including fire safety protocols and emergency exit procedures. Blocking emergency exits is prohibited. Any improper opening of an emergency exit may result in a charge. Bringing dangerous substances or objects (explosives, flammable materials, corrosives, toxic substances, pressurized gases, etc.) into the premises or rooms is strictly prohibited.
4.7.3. PARC AVENTURE LAND does not tolerate any form of violence, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory remarks, or threats directed at staff or other customers. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to refuse entry, expel one or more USERS, or interrupt a SESSION in the event of a violation, without a refund. Access may also be refused to individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs for safety reasons.
4.7.4. Smoking, drinking, or eating inside the facility is prohibited.
V. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
Online sales of the products and services featured on the site are restricted to buyers residing in France, the French Overseas Departments and Territories (DOM-TOM), or Monaco.
VI. ORDERS
6.1. To purchase a product or service, the buyer must: Complete the identification form providing all requested contact details or provide their customer number (if applicable). Complete the online order form, specifying the references for the chosen products or services. Validate the order after reviewing it. Make the payment in accordance with the stipulated terms. Confirm the order and payment.
6.2. Confirming the order constitutes acceptance of these terms of sale, acknowledgment of full awareness thereof, and a waiver of the right to rely on one's own purchase terms or any other conditions.
6.3. All data provided and the recorded confirmation shall serve as proof of the transaction. The confirmation shall constitute a signature and acceptance of the transactions performed.
6.4. The seller will send confirmation of the recorded order via email.
6.5. Orders for tourism products are subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as the park's internal regulations.
6.6. For specific services (team building, private bookings, associations, etc.), a quote or specific pricing may be offered. In this case, booking through our sales department is mandatory; quote requests should be sent to reservations@aventureland.fr.
6.7. DELAYS, GROUP SIZE, AND SESSION CONDUCT (Escape Game specific)
6.7.1. USERS must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the booked session. In the event of a delay, PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to decide whether or not to start the session. The ROOM must be vacated at the scheduled time. PARC AVENTURE LAND may refuse entry if the delay is 20 minutes or longer, with no refund provided.
6.7.2. If fewer USERS arrive than planned, no refund for the difference will be issued.
6.7.3. If more USERS arrive, an additional fee per USER will be required prior to entry, subject to the ROOM's capacity limits.
VII. CANCELLATION, TRANSFER, AND REFUND
7.1. Tickets cannot be exchanged, resold, or returned.
7.2. Purchased tickets are non-refundable, even if the ticket is not used by the customer. Any claims must be sent to: infos@aventureland.fr.
7.3. For the Escape Game only: in the event of cancellation attributable to PARC AVENTURE LAND (force majeure, equipment failure, exceptional unavailability, safety reasons), PARC AVENTURE LAND will offer a choice between rescheduling to a later date (subject to availability) or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled booking. No other compensation will be due (transport costs, accommodation, etc.).
7.4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with applicable regulations derived from Directive 2011/83 of October 25, 2011, on consumer rights (Article L.221-28), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts regarding the provision of accommodation services (other than for residential purposes), goods transport services, car rentals, catering services, or leisure activities that are to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Consequently, no reservation may be cancelled or refunded except in the event of a cancellation solely attributable to PARC AVENTURE LAND.Only in this specific case will the amount of the initial reservation be refunded.
VIII.PAYMENT TERMS
8.1.Payment is due at the time of ordering.
8.2.Payments shall be made by bank card or ANCV Connect; they will be processed via a secure system using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, ensuring that transmitted information is encrypted by software and cannot be accessed by third parties during network transmission.
8.3.The customer's bank account will be debited for the order amount immediately upon final validation of the transaction.
8.4.Upon the buyer's request, a paper invoice itemizing the VAT will be sent to them.
IX.DELIVERY
9.1.By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, the customer agrees to the terms of use for PARC AVENTURE LAND online tickets.
9.2.Upon purchase confirmation, the customer will receive an order confirmation and/or electronic ticket(s). The customer must present this confirmation or ticket(s) at the ticket counter, either on their smartphone or as a paper printout.
X. TICKET VERIFICATION
10.1. The order will be verified by an operator at the park entrance.
10.2. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to verify the customer's identity. The customer must therefore carry a valid official photo ID: national identity card, passport, driver's license, or residence permit.
XI. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
11.1. All elements of the PARC AVENTURE LAND website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of S.A. AVENTURE LAND.
11.2. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, rebroadcast, or use—in any capacity or manner, even partially—any elements of the site, whether software, visual, or audio.
11.3. Any simple link or hyperlink is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of PARC AVENTURE LAND.
11.4. To protect the experience and commercial interests of PARC AVENTURE LAND: any audio or video recording within the ESCAPE GAME is prohibited (phones, cameras, GoPros, etc.), and the disclosure of game elements (puzzles, solutions, storylines) is strongly discouraged and may infringe upon the rights and interests of PARC AVENTURE LAND. PARC AVENTURE LAND may terminate the session if the recording ban is violated, without a refund.
XII. PERSONAL DATA
12.1. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, personal information concerning buyers may be subject to automated processing.
12.2. PARC AVENTURE LAND reserves the right to collect information about buyers—including through the use of cookies—and, at its discretion, to share the collected information with commercial partners.
12.3. Buyers may object to the disclosure of their contact details by notifying PARC AVENTURE LAND. Likewise, users have the right to access and rectify data concerning them, in accordance with the Act of January 6, 1978.
12.4. The automated processing of information, including the management of site users' email addresses, was declared to the CNIL on June 8, 2005, and registered under number 1099358.
12.5. The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered during the booking process.
12.6. PHOTOS, VIDEO SURVEILLANCE, AND IMAGE RIGHTS
12.6.1. Group photos may be offered after the ESCAPE GAME. Any person may object to the use of their image for communication purposes by sending a request to infos@aventureland.fr.
12.6.2. The ROOM may be equipped with a video surveillance and/or audio monitoring system allowing staff to ensure safety and provide game assistance. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy and via on-site signage.
XIII. ARCHIVING - PROOF
13.1. PARC AVENTURE LAND will archive purchase orders and invoices on a reliable and durable medium constituting a true copy, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the Civil Code.
13.2. PARC AVENTURE LAND’s computerized records shall be considered by the parties as proof of the communications, orders, payments, and transactions that have taken place between the parties.
XIV. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law regarding both their interpretation and implementation, and fall under the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Pontoise. In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding the amicable settlement of disputes, the "AVENTURE LAND" site participates in the Tourism and Travel Mediation service (*Médiation Tourisme et Voyage*) through its membership in SNELAC. After contacting Parc Aventure Land’s customer service department, and failing a satisfactory response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman (*Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage*); contact details are as follows: Association Médiation Tourisme et Voyage, CS 30958 – 75383 PARIS CEDEX 08. Procedures for referring the matter are available on the website www.mtv.travel.
